Mobile network operator T-Mobile USA and US electronic payment services provider Vesta have launched a mobile payment application dubbed T-Mobile Refill.

The new application allows T-Mobile prepaid customers to refill their mobile service through their Android smartphones. Users can review their monthly or pay as you go plan and add funds, initiate a one-time refill or sign up for Auto Refill by customizing the payment amount, frequency and start date.

The T-Mobile Refill app is also set to support gifting to other T-Mobile prepaid customers. Gift recipient names and numbers can be saved within the app to enable repeat purchases.

In recent news, Isis, a US mobile commerce joint venture created by AT&T, T-Mobile USA and Verizon Wireless, has partnered with global provider of payment services Ingenico, US-based NFC software and systems company ViVOtech, payment processing and security vendor Equinox Payments and US-based electronic payment services provider VeriFone Systems to integrate the Isis mobile commerce application in current and future product lines.
