TNS launches global GPRS access product for mobile terminals across Europe

Transaction Network Services (TNS), a global provider of data communications and interoperability services has launched a one-stop product that is expected to allow mobile POS terminals across Europe to access TNS’ PCI DSS certified Secure Payments Network and link to acquirers and processers around the world.TNS’ product aims to provide connectivity to the TNS Secure Payments Network via a single global roaming SIM.

TNS provides the SIM in a pre-activated state, which allows for instant operation when the SIM is operated by merchants.

Automated billing is set to begin only after usage of the service starts. The global roaming SIM provides partners with improved coverage compared to a single network SIM.

The TNS product also incorporates the TNS SIM Management Portal, which can be used to provision SIM cards, view and amend SIM status, examine connection history and perform diagnostics in real-time.
