Trinindad and Tobago: ClairMail, First Citizens Bank partner to offer mobile banking services

First Citizens Bank, a financial services provider located in Trinidad and Tobago, has partnered US-based mobile banking services provider ClairMail to provide its customers with mobile banking services.

With the mobile banking application powered by ClairMail, First Citizens customers will be able to use both mobile text banking and mobile web to check balances, transfer funds between accounts and monitor their transaction history. Users can also set up personalized alerts for various items, including cheque clearance, balance below a specified threshold, payments due as well as withdrawals.

Recently, ClairMail has closed a deal with CashEdge, a US provider of online money transfer services, to offer financial institutions (FIs) connectivity to CashEdges Popmoney through the ClairMail platform.

ClairMail empowers banks, credit unions, card service companies and payment providers to roll out mobile banking and P2P payment options to their clients.
