The integration of Onebip’s mobile payment service with Turkcell’s Smart Ticket application allowed fans to buy tickets via SMS using mobile phones. To purchase a ticket, fans sent an SMS to “3544” with the message “BiLET” and the ticket price was charged directly to their mobile phone bill. The fan then received an m-ticket code, which was activated at special gates in the stadium to allow entry into the match.In recent news, Turkcell has launched a mobile wallet service dubbed Turkcell Wallet which allows consumers to purchase goods and services in store or online by using their mobile phone numbers instead of credit cards.
