Tyfone partners IQT for mobile security, NFC-based transactions

US-based provider of mobile financial services infrastructure Tyfone has entered an agreement with independent, nonprofit organization In-Q-Tel (IQT).

Under the agreement, IQT has selected Tyfone for its functionalities in distributed secure ID, patent portfolio and NFC using multiple form factors.

Tyfone’s mobile banking services include checking balance, account history reviews, fund transfers, branch and ATM location lookup, bill payments, account aggregation, mobile remote deposit capture (mRDC), iCashe Mobile Wallet as well as the ability to enroll and customise mobile banking via mobile devices.

Tyfone Mobile Banking is built on the company’s u4ia mobile financial services platform that enables contactless payments using near field communications (NFC) and authentication ID management, providing banks with a roadmap for delivering digital wallet and payment services.

In recent news, US-based financial services provider Communication Federal Credit Union (CFCU) has selected Tyfone for the latter’s mobile banking services.
