Ubiquity acquires some of GiftSenders assets

Ubiquity Broadcasting, a US-based multimedia company, has acquired certain assets of Think Mobile, dba GiftSender business, including intellectual property, customer relationships, inventory and other, in a cash and stock transaction. The value of the assets purchased was not disclosed.

GiftSender is an iOS and Android app that enables people to purchase, send, redeem or swap a gift card or money via a mobile device.

Mobile gift cards can be saved in a wallet on the owners mobile device, they can display balance information and they can be bought and sent without having to travel to a physical location like a grocery store to make the purchase.

Ubiquity Broadcasting is an emerging broadcasting and media technologies company that owns a portfolio of intellectual property relating to Internet, social media and cloud-based applications, where it also owns and operates an in-house production facility.
