UK voucher-based prepaid payment services provider Ukash has launched an iPhone app to allow users to manage cash online via their mobile devices.

As a result, the Ukash iPhone app is set to enable users to load, send and spend cash online, providing consumers with a platform to store their Ukash vouchers on the move. In addition, consumers can use their current location to find the nearest store selling via the iPhone app.

Ukash is planning to develop apps for several other devices by the end of 2011.

Ukash enables consumers worldwide to shop, pay and play online using cash and is available at 420,000 retail locations in over 50 countries globally.

In recent news, Ukash has extended its presence in Argentina and Brazil in a bid to bring domestic and international online payments to web consumers.
