Wireless transactions provider USA Technologies (USAT) has entered an agreement with Isis, a US mobile commerce joint venture created by AT&T, T-Mobile USA and Verizon Wireless, to roll out vending machines in Austin and Salt Lake City for mobile payment acceptance powered by USAT’s NFC-enabled ePort technology and ePort Connect service.

To accept the Isis Mobile Wallet, vending operators need to install USAT’s NFC-enabled technology and display the type of signage typical for other payment networks.

USA Technologies has 100,000 M2M connections to their ePort Connect service. The company provides small-ticket, wireless, non-cash transaction services to businesses and industries including kiosks, hospitality, digital imaging and the vending machine industry.

In recent news, USAT has launched a mobile acceptance service dubbed ePort Mobile that allows merchants to accept credit and debit cards on the go through USAT’s ePort Connect service platform.
