Under the agreement, ValidSofts SMART service is set to be integrated into Utibas suite of mobile financial services. In other words, Utibas MNO and banking customers are set to be able to provide authentication services using ValidSofts technology.
ValidSoft is a subsidiary of Elephant Talk Communications and provides solutions to counter electronic fraud relating to card, the internet, and telephone channels. ValidSofts solutions are used to verify the authenticity of both parties to a transaction (Mutual Authentication), and the integrity of the transaction itself (Transaction Verification) for the mass market.
In recent news, ValidSoft has joined Get Safe Online, a joint initiative between the UK government, law enforcement, businesses and the public to provide computer users and small businesses with advice to protect themselves from internet threats.
