Viettel, ABBank team up for mobile banking service

Vietnam-based mobile network operator Viettel and financial institution An Binh Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ABBank) have entered an agreement to launch BankPlus, a service that enables customers to conduct banking transactions on their mobile phones.

Under the agreement, when BankPlus is activated, phone users can transfer funds to other ABBANK accounts, look up their account balance and transaction history and pay Viettels service charges.

ABBANK’s network comprises more than 110 branches, over 100 ATMs and 200 POS terminals in Vietnam.
