Visa, Neiman Marcus partner for mobile offers program

Friday 7 September 2012 07:42 CET | News

Visa has entered an agreement with US-based retailer Neiman Marcus to test a new mobile offers program dubbed nmbuzz.

The new program delivers offers, fashion news and updates on sneak previews and designer appearances to the mobile phones of Neiman Marcus customers who enroll their Visa accounts in nmbuzz. After enrolling in the program, customers receive information via SMS text messages from nmbuzz while shopping with the enrolled Visa card up to two times per week. For example, after using the enrolled Visa card to make a purchase at a merchant near a local Neiman Marcus store, a customer could receive information on an upcoming Neiman Marcus beauty event that features a gift with purchase.

In recent news, Visa Europe has teamed up with Czech financial services provider Komercní banka (KB), Telefónica and Samsung to roll out NFC-powered mobile payments services in the Czech Republic.
