Thursday 9 August 2012 14:49 CET | News

US independent mutual bank Dollar Bank has entered a deal with payment and receivables processing services provider WAUSAU Financial Systems to implement the latter’s mobile remote deposit capture offering, dubbed Deposit 24/7 Mobile.

Since implementing its solution for business customers in 2009, Dollar Bank has distributed more than 1,200 merchant RDC systems and currently processes over USD 170 million in deposits monthly.

When Dollar Banks treasury offering with mobile RDC goes live, it is set to combine the banks proprietary Positive Pay service with WAUSAUs risk monitoring functionality that allows financial institutions and their clients to use RDC services while complying with the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council guidelines.

The risk monitoring module in conjunction with Deposit 24/7 Mobile includes features such as duplicate detection, velocity and dollar limits, as well as image analytics.

Deposit 24/7 Mobile is powered by patented technology from mobile imaging innovator Mitek Systems.
