US financial services provider Wells Fargo has added its TradeXchange application to the Wells Fargo CEO Mobile service to provide customers and their trading partners with mobile trade transaction services.

With the Mobile TradeXchange application, customers and their trading partners can access and view trade transactions from their smartphones. Customers are set to be able to view, import and export letters of credit as well as execute online queries from their mobile devices.

The CEO Mobile service allows customers to access accounts from their mobile devices. Customers can use the CEO Mobile service to initiate and approve payments, receive alerts about critical transactions or items that need attention, review account balances and transactions, manage commercial card expense reporting, review and reset rates for expiring term loans as well as administer and reset passwords.

Wells Fargo provides banking, insurance, investments, mortgage, consumer and commercial finance via over 9,000 stores, 12,000 ATMs, online and other distribution channels across North America and internationally.

In recent news, Indian financial institution HDFC Bank has teamed up with Wells Fargo to allow US-based non-residents to remit funds online or via mobile devices to their beneficiaries in India.
