Wincor Nixdorf launches PC/EMobile Cash application

Monday 22 October 2012 09:55 CET | News

Wincor Nixdorf, a global provider of transaction and payment services for the banking and retail markets, has launched its PC/EMobile Cash application for smartphones.

The new application allows users to find the nearest ATM, transfer funds, withdraw cash as well as pay bills and receive deposits including payroll cheques. Bank customers can authenticate themselves at the ATM using either their bank card and PIN or without a bank card using two independent codes. These independent codes allow consumers to use a freely selected code and matching it with one generated by the mobile cash server at the time of the transaction.

In recent news, Symantec, a US-based security software designer for computers, and Wincor Nixdorf have teamed up to protect financial self-service systems worldwide from attacks.
