Worldnet adds Google Pay support to expand mobile payment options

Wednesday 17 October 2018 14:53 CET | News

Worldnet has completed Google Pay certification to enable PSPs and ISOs the capability to accept payments from any device using the Google Pay platform.

Offering Google Pay support provides safe transactions for both retailers and end users and an upgraded payment experience. With Google Pay, Worldnet customers are equipped to take transactions via the Chrome browser or in-app, on mobile devices.

By working with Worldnet, PSPs and ISOs can ensure that their solutions are compliant with Google Pay standards. In addition to the certification for Google Pay, Worldnet provides a omnichannel PaaS platform that supports both Card Present EMV and Card Not Present transactions. The service supports traditional POS systems, as well as iOS and Android operating systems for mobile and online-based merchants.

Earlier in 2018, Worldnet has introduced GoChipNow, a “plug and play” solution for virtual terminal merchants who want to upgrade to EMV.
