US mobile payment services provider XIPWIRE introduces a mobile payment service, which is certified by major mobile carriers.

With this new service, customers can send and receive money via SMS to family and friends, as well as pay for items and services through the mobile channel. Industrial strength encryption, PIN-based authentication, Instant Phone Lock, and Anonymous ID are some of the features XIPWIREs patent-pending technology integrates and which enable individuals and merchants to safely conduct transactions.

Local vendors, such as restaurants, non-profits and service organisations have already signed up to offer XIPWIRE for their customers.
