Zong rolls out Android-based m-payment service

Thursday 9 December 2010 09:31 CET | News

Mobile payment services provider Zong has made available its new in-app mobile payment service for Android-powered devices, dubbed Zong SDK.

As a result, developers have to install the Zong SDK into their Android app for the service to become available.

How it works

When users want to make a purchase from a participating merchant, they have to tap one button on their Android based-devices and Zong verifies the mobile user, processes the payment and charges it via the carrier. In addition, users are not required to download, register or log in.

Android developers can use the Zong SDK to reach over 3 billion mobile consumers in 50 countries.
