Integrated security services provider AhnLab has entered an agreement with US-based semiconductor chip manufacturer Intel to integrate Intel Identity Protection Technology (Intel IPT) with AhnLab Online Security (AOS) service.

Under the terms of the deal, the companies will deliver the AOS SecureAuth IPT technology, which enables multi-factor authentication for consumers and businesses of all sizes including internet banking. By providing the multi-factor authentication, leveraging username and password, OTP (One-Time Password) and device authentication, the AOS SecureAuth IPT features security capabilities and enables consumers to log into banking or other internet services.

Intel IPT is a two-factor authentication technology which is offered on Ultrabook devices with third generation Intel Core technology (code named Ivy Bridge). The AOS SecureAuth IPT technology can be implemented to any internet-based services such as internet banking, e-commerce, online gaming and internal access for enterprises or public organizations.
