Auriga issues White Paper to see if traditional banking should be abandoned

Tuesday 8 November 2016 00:18 CET | News

Auriga, a banking software company from Italy, has produced a White Paper on whether or not the time is ripe to abandon the traditional bank.

Auriga has identified three challenges facing banks: 1) the need to retain customers, 2) improving profitability and 3) attracting new customers.

To meet these challenges, banks must rethink and reposition branches in their distribution strategy and relationships with customers. This can be achieved by creating a kind of hybrid branch with self-service capabilities – a kind of automated branch with human staff on hand to provide advice.
