Bank of China, China Systems to introduce online banking system

Tuesday 22 May 2012 10:10 CET | News

Financial institution Bank of China has launched its online banking system powered by Customer Enterprise, the front end service of China Systems, a global trade finance services vendor.

Using the newly introduced online system, which integrates its Global Trade System (GTS) and customer enterprise via an intermediary platform, Bank of China provides trade, guarantee, factoring, forfaiting and supply chain finance processing services. The bank’s customers will now be able to use a single window for processing and enquiring on all their trade finance and supply chain activities.

Following the online system launch, Bank of China has begun to use customer enterprise with a platform via SOA integration to provide its customers with online access to other banking businesses connecting to its legacy systems.

Bank of China is already a partner of China Systems, using its flagship Java EE–based product Eximbills Enterprise as its trade finance back office service.
