Security services provider Trusteer has been selected by Cape Cod Five, a US-based community bank, to implement its Trusteer Rapport in order to protect customer accounts from malware.

Trusteer Rapport provides fraud fighting tools which can prevent malware from exploiting browser and add-on vulnerabilities, installing itself on a device, capturing credentials and personal information entered in the browser and initiating fraudulent transactions or tampering with in-process transactions.

Trusteer provides fraud prevention services to protect organizations against financial cybercrime and data breaches. Trusteer’s Cybercrime Prevention Architecture combines multi-layer security software and threat intelligence to defeat zero-day malware and phishing attacks. Organizations such as HSBC, Santander, The Royal Bank of Scotland, SunTrust and Fifth Third Bank are among Trusteer’s clients.
