Wednesday 2 September 2009 09:00 CET | News

US security software provider for the financial services industry Guardian Analytics has entered an agreement with Cathay Bank to provide the latter with its FraudMAP fraud prevention software. Under the terms of the deal, Cathay Bank is set to employ the FraudMAP behaviour-based analytics software in order to enhance customer accounts protection against online banking fraud.

FraudMAP includes detection and actionable analysis protocols that increase the visibility of suspicious online activity. Guardian Analytics Dynamic Account Modelling technology monitors individual online account holder sessions from login to logout, looking to detect suspicious actions and flag behaviours inconsistent with predicted account holder behaviour.
