CitiBank Korea partners AhnLab for online banking security services

Wednesday 13 October 2010 10:17 CET | News

Integrated security services provider AhnLab has signed an agreement with CitiBank Korea, a subsidiary of global financial services company Citibank to provide the latter with online banking security services.

Under the terms of the contract, CitiBank Korea is set to leverage four online banking security products powered by AhnLab, namely, AOS Secure Browser, AOS Anti-Virus/Spyware, AOS Anti-Key Logger and AOS Firewall. The products are set to protect the bank’s online banking platform from any malware attempts such as web modulation and memory hacking.

The AOS Secure Browser starts automatically when a user logs on to an online banking site, in conjunction with the Anti-Key Logger, Firewall and Anti-Virus/Spyware programs. The application provides protection and security by blocking access to the allocated memory area and running all online transactions in a contained environment.
