US provider of online payments and online financial management services eWise has transferred its corporate headquarters from Australia to Colorado and has incorporated in the US under the name eWise Group.

eWise and NACHA – The Electronic Payments Association have developed the private online payment network Secure Vault Payments. SVP enables consumers to make payments for purchases and carry out bill payments via their financial institutions’ online banking platforms, using the ACH network and eWise’s online banking e-Payments technology.

In November 2010, financial services provider US Bank has implemented the Secure Vault Payments. After joining the network, the genealogy organization FamilySearch International has entered an agreement with US Bank to enable the FamilySearch.org patrons to make online donations.

In recent news, eWise has announced a call for executive nominations to the Secure Vault Payments Marketing Advisory Council with participation from NACHA — The Electronic Payments Association. Twenty selected nominees will become the founding members of the council, including financial institutions, merchants, billers and gateway service companies. All council members are likely to be nominated by 15 April 2011 and are expected to serve for an annual term.
