Fifth Third Bank selects ClairMail for mobile banking service

US financial services provider Fifth Third Bank has selected US-based mobile banking services provider ClairMail to power its new mobile banking service.

Under the terms of the agreement, Fifth Third Bank is expected to use ClairMail’s mobile platform to enable its customers to control their personal finances through mobile web, SMS and a client application available on several mobile devices.

The mobile banking platform is set to allow customers to carry our several activities, including checking account balances, performing account transfers and viewing transaction history. In addition, customers can opt to sign up for personalized alerts over SMS notifications.

Fifth Third Bancorp owns USD 112 billion in assets and operates 16 affiliates with 1,309 full-service Banking Centers throughout the US.
