Thursday 2 February 2012 13:13 CET | News

US-based financial services provider The Huntington Bank has entered an agreement with security services provider Trusteer.

As part of the agreement, Huntington Bank will implement Trusteer Rapport and Trusteer Pinpoint to prevent security issues and achieve compliance with the new FFIEC guidance on online banking security.

Trusteer Rapport provides fraud fighting tools which can prevent malware from exploiting browser and add-on vulnerabilities, installing itself on a device, capturing credentials and personal information entered in the browser and initiating fraudulent transactions or tampering with in-process transactions.

Huntington Bank counts USD 54.8 million in assets and more than 600 local branches.
