The same survey indicates that in June 2009, more than 1 million visitors accessed Maybank2U.com, accounting for nearly 12 percent of all Malaysians online. During the month in question, 9.3 million Malaysians aged 15 and older accessed the internet from home and work locations, each consuming an average of 1,066 pages of content and spending nearly 14 hours online.
Online auction website Mudah.my came in second place after Maybank2U.com as far as its popularity among online consumers is concerned, while AirAsia.com was the third most visited local property, reaching 9 percent of the online Malaysian population.
The survey was carried out by online audience measurement service comScore.
