OpenArc releases online, mobile banking platform

Sri Lanka-based software developer OpenArc has introduced a mobile and online banking service, dubbed SkyPay, media outlet print.dailymirror.lk reports.

According to the source, the newly-released service is the payment interface module of OpenArc’s core banking system, namely SkyBank. The offering targets the needs of banks, finance companies or utility companies.

The source reports that the SkyPay offering is set to allow financial institutions’ customers to access banking services through the internet or via their mobile phones. Moreover, customers can carry out several types of transactions, including balance inquiries, fund transfers, money remittances, bill payments, as well as cash withdrawals and deposits through an agents network.
