SunGard, a global software and technology services company, has rolled out a social-enabled online and mobile banking platform, dubbed Ambit MyMoney, to enable banks to provide their customers with online and mobile banking services via the web, mobile phone and tablet computer.

The newly-launched platform includes out-of-the-box integration to social networking websites such as Facebook and Twitter and offers social visibility for banks by allowing customers to ‘follow’ via the bank’s own Facebook and Twitter websites. Customers can also ‘like’ the bank’s products and services, and choose to receive alerts and notifications via these channels.

Via the Ambit MyMoney multi-channel platform, gain access to a set of financial and non-financial transactions. For business customers, Ambit MyMoney’s cash management capabilities offers capabilities which include tracking and managing finances while on-the-go, through tools such as role-based authority for users, variable limits, batch payments, salary payments and maker-checker with multiple levels of approval.

Furthermore, Ambit MyMoney is customizable at the platform level and on an individual user basis, and includes widgets such as FX rates, news feeds and goal planners, which can be configured on the customer’s dashboard. Ambit My Money is part of SunGard’s Ambit Customer Management suite.
