Wednesday 6 October 2010 10:51 CET | News

US-based software and technology company SunGard has made available AvantGard eBAM, an electronic bank account management service.

The newly developed application is set to provide corporate customers with a web-based tool for the online managment and storage of their bank accounts and related information. AvantGard eBAM provides connectivity into the SWIFT (The Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication) network and can be integrated with any treasury workstation.

With AvantGard eBAM, customers can connect to their banks via Echos (AvantGard EcoSystem Communication Service) in order to route messages and facilitate the automation of bank account management. The service can be used with or without SWIFT connectivity and is delivered in a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model that is built on SunGard’s Infinity Application Framework.

Recently, the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) has entered a partnership with SunGard to acquire the assets of SunGard’s Ambit Messaging Hub (AMH) solution for high-volume financial messaging.
