Uniastrum rolls out the U-Bank service

Russian financial institution Uniastrum Bank has introduced a new online banking service, dubbed U-bank.

The newly launched service will be available to all customers in Moscow and the Moscow region. U-Bank is a remote banking system which allows users to complete a range of payment transactions online from all over the world. The service enables users to personalise their settings according to their preferences. In addition, U-Bank features an information service and also allows limited access to accounts and bank cards details.

Customers who have access to the system will be able to obtain details of their accounts, loans and deposits, card balances and available credit, receive account and card statements, transfer money between their own and other persons’ accounts, exchange currencies at Uniastrum rates, pay for telecom services, public utilities and other services by transferring funds to over 800 companies in Moscow and other Russian cities.

In order to gain access to the U-Bank service, users are required to type in their login and password as well as session keys and one-time numeric codes used to confirm payment transactions.

Uniastrum Bank provides a range of services including different types of loans, cash management services, deposit services and issue of plastic (debit and overdraft) cards.
