Russia-based online payment system WebMoney Transfer has introduced a new top-up service.

Via its top-up service, WebMoney Transfer enables customers to fund their WebMoney Purse from bank accounts in France and the Netherland through DIRECTebanking.

Currently, the service addresses formal passport or higher passport types holders. In order to use DIRECTebanking with the increased limits, formal passport holders have to check their documents via the Attestation centre.

Powered by the German payment services provider Payment Network, DIRECTebanking is an online banking-based online payment service. DIRECTebanking.com provides customers with the ability to directly and automatically trigger a credit transfer during online purchase via their online banking information. A transfer order is confirmed allowing delivery of goods and services.

WebMoney is an electronic money system which offers options for exchanging national currencies into digital WebMoney. The system allows users to conduct online transactions without a bank acting as an intermediary. For this purpose, users must open a WebMoney account, download software on their computer, install it and thus receive a WebMoney ID.
