Western Union, La Banque Postale to roll out account-based money transfer services

Western Union has entered an agreement with France-based La Banque Postale, a subsidiary of La Poste Group, in order to provide all accountholders of this bank with the Account-Based Money Transfer (ABMT) services.

Under the terms of this deal, all customers with bank accounts at La Banque Postale will be able to perform international money transfers using the bank’s website for cash payout at any of Western Union’s agencies. This service will be available beginning with 15 November. The new service is part of both companies’ online channels strategy.

La Bank Postale provides financial services on the French retail banking market.
