2Checkout.com, 41st Parameter renew agreement for online fraud detection services

2Checkout.com, a US provider of credit card processing services accounts for online merchants has extended its agreement with fraud detection and prevention technology developer 41st Parameter.

As a result, 2Checkout will continue to implement the FraudNet solution to detect internet and e-commerce fraud while monitoring for evolving fraud trends that help in future prevention. The FraudNet application analyses e-commerce transactions and new account openings and determines any fraud-risk level, incorporating the PCPrint technology. PCPrint is able to identify individual PCs and other devices online. 41st Parameters FraudNet 3.0 capabilities include: Device ID, an integrated device intelligence technology for the recognition of any internet connected device; Dynamic Queue which offers prioritised reviews for orders, as well as automated analysis and enhanced custom link analysis.

41st Parameter has recently released a study which indicates that online payment fraud has become a big issue for the airline industry, as airlines report over USD 1 billion annually in online fraud losses.
