3dcart, a web-based e-commerce hosting solution, is set to integrate Dwolla’s payment network into its online shopping cart platform.

The addition of Dwolla allows 3dcart customers to send, request and accept money electronically. Also, Dwolla’s incorporation gives 3dcart merchants and their customers the option to send money through email, phone, Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter.

3dcart’s Dwolla is set to offer USD0.25 for every transaction over USD10.

3DCart offers several e-commerce services, such as hosting, shopping cart software and web design, as well as e-commerce marketing services.

Dwolla provides a platform which allows users to send, receive and request funds from any other user. Transactions can be conducted through email, mobile devices and even social media.

In May 2013, the company has secured USD 16.5 million in a third funding round and has revealed plans to use the capital to further develop its enterprise products and support customer/geographic growth.
