Adknowledge introduces online monetization service

Adknowledge, a private advertising network, has launched an ad-sponsored payment gateway for web monetization.

Dubbed Cambyo, the solution enables consumers who select it to either pay directly for items and services (with credit card, mobile payments, etc.) or indirectly by taking part in sponsored advertising offers. Clients can win a specific product or service for free by completing an advertiser offer as an alternative to paying for a certain product or service directly.

Cambyo has nearly 50,000 advertisers who can create advertisements that are placed into websites run by Adknowledge’s participating publishers. The gateway also integrates an offer filtering system (including Offer Black and White Listing), allowing online merchants to control which offers are presented to their customers.
