Air China selects PayPal for online payment services

Chinese airline Air China has closed an agreement with global online payment services provider PayPal.

Under the terms of the partnership, Air China will be able to provide additional alternative payment options for travelers who purchase tickets directly on Air Chinas international websites. After the US, Australia, Singapore and South Korea, Air China plans to gradually extend the PayPal online payment service to more international websites.

The Chinese airline activates via 28 international websites, providing services such as online booking, flight status inquiries, flight schedule inquiries, online check-in, hotel reservations as well as car rentals in 11 languages and processing transactions in 17 currencies.
