Air Mauritius, the national carrier of Mauritius, has integrated Wirecard’s payment platform to process all its online payment transactions.

As part of the deal, the new payment gateway adds additional capabilities for all Air Mauritius’ customers. Therefore, apart from MasterCard and Visa-branded credit cards, customers will now be able to pay via AMEX, Discover JCB, Diners, Maestro, Visa Electron and Carte Bleue debit cards. Additionally, the newly implemented system also allows quotations for airline tickets (and other services) and payments in multiple currencies.

Air Mauritius has also implemented the Fraud Prevention Suite which provides fraud detection services.
Wirecard has partnered with more than 10,000 companies active in various industries to automate their payment processes. In recent news, Wirecard has expanded its alliance with European ceramics manufacturer Villeroy & Boch to process the company’s payments.
