Alaska USA, Acculynk to enable internet PIN debit via PaySecure network

Tuesday 15 May 2012 09:30 CET | News

PIN-debit technology provider Acculynk has entered an agreement with Alaska USA Credit Union to enable internet PIN debit via Acculynk’s PaySecure network.

Under the terms of the deal, Alaska USA cardholders will now be able to use their debit card and CU-issued PIN at participating online merchants. In addition, Alaska Option, which is operated by Alaska USA, will make PaySecure available to other eligible issuers in their nationwide network.

With Acculynk’s PaySecure, online shoppers will only have to enter their PIN on a graphical PIN pad at the merchant checkout and use their current Alaska USA debit card and PIN to complete the transaction.

PaySecure is currently enabled on over 3,000 merchant websites. Acculynk has partnered nine EFT networks to process PaySecure transactions and with six payment processors and is certified with PULSE, First Data and MasterCard, among other industry companies.

Alaska USA founded and is currently operating the Alaska Option Network, which provides ATM and point-of-sale payment, switching, settlement and related services for financial institutions across the US.
