Allied Wallet inks deal with Sofort, Klarna, giropay

Allied Wallet, a provider of e-commerce merchant services and payment processing services, has partnered with financial institution Sofort Bank, Swedish e-commerce payment services provider Klarna and German online banking-based online payment services provider giropay.

The partnership with Sofort Bank will enable Allied Wallet to provide services to thousands of European merchants and over 100 million customers. Allied Wallet and Sofort have joined forces to offer products and share their knowledge with regards to the development of new products and services for the e-commerce world.

The new alliances will enable Allied Wallet to allow payments in regions such as Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Poland, France, the UK, Italy, Spain, Austria, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland. In addition, Allied Wallet is projected to see a potential increase of USD 3 billion in 2013.

Founded in 2002, Allied Wallet provides payment processing services for online merchants, enabling them to receive international payments. The company also offers fraud protection services.
