Friday 23 September 2011 09:50 CET | News

Asian online payments provider AsiaPay has joined forces with the Philippines’ wireless services provider Smart Communications to enable Smart Money account holders to pay for their online purchases via merchants of PesoPay – AsiaPay’s online payment service in the Philippines.

Smart Money, the mobile commerce offering of Smart issued by BDO Unibank in the Philippines, is a reloadable cash payment card linked to a mobile phone. AsiaPay’s network of merchant partners and fraud management system with fraud potential transaction screening complement Smart Money’s lock / unlock feature that enables any Smart Money account holder to authorise online purchases on a Smart mobile phone.

AsiaPay is an accredited payment processor and payment gateway solution vendor for banks, certified IPSP for merchants, certified international 3D-Secure vendor for Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and JCB. AsiaPay offers payment services that are multi-currency, multi-lingual, multi-card, and multi-channel together with its fraud detection and management solutions.
