Monday 19 October 2009 09:20 CET | News

Online services provider Aurumis has introduced an online system aimed at newspapers, journalists, magazines, bloggers, newsletters in search for a solution which would enable them to monetize their premium content.

Dubbed ZoolahScribe, the system provides consumers with a single account from which they can manage, pay for and access premium online content and works by incorporating its paid content tools into the content providers website. In order to make one-time payments or pay for subscriptions, consumers must use the Zoolah online currency system which enables consumers to exchange, spend, earn and save online. Once they load their Zoolah account with a minimum USD 5 using any major credit card, they can access a single article, a full subscription, or any combination offered by an online content provider.

In related news, Zuora, a US provider of online subscription billing and payment services, has introduced Z-Commerce for Media, a product which allows online publishers to monetize online content.
