Bank of America Merrill Lynch taps Accuity for SEPA compliance

Accuity, a provider of global payment routing data, has partnered with global financial services provider Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BofA Merrill) to enable the latter’s customers to comply with the Single Euro Payment Area (SEPA) requirements. 

Under the terms of the agreement, Accuity will provide BofA Merrill Lynch with its international bank account number (IBAN) conversion and validation services. These services are designed to automatically convert legacy account details into valid IBANs and correct routing Bank Identifier Codes (BICs).

Accuity also provides AML screening software services and is active in over 150 countries.
