Bank of Ceylon, CBSL team up to introduce online payment facility

Wednesday 17 October 2012 08:24 CET | News

Financial institutions Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) and Bank of Ceylon (BOC) have entered an agreement to provide “BOC online payment facility” at Central Bank of Sri Lanka.

BOC and CBSL have developed this system to enable employers to make their monthly EPF payments and to send the member details electronically. In addition, employers can make their EPF payments from their office even until the last day, without posting or handing over the cheque or money order payments to CBSL, in advance.

Bank of Ceylon provides a range of e-banking features to corporate clients who can handle all their payments such as customs duty, Ports Authority payments, ETF and EPF payments at one point.
