Bank of India, TimesofMoney to deliver online remittance service for NRIs in the UK

Bank of India and TimesofMoney, an Indian e-payments service provider, have teamed up to introduce an online remittance service for non-resident Indians in the UK, media outlet thehindubusnessline.com has unveiled.

Via the newly launched service, customers will no longer have to visit a branch and will be able to make the online money transfers from their home or office.

Bank of India has offices in 19 foreign centres in over five continents, where its services are extended through 49 outlets, including seven in the UK. Almost 25 percent of the banks business is registred by its foreign offices.

TimesofMoney`s offerings include specialized NRI services, India money transfers, global money transfers, e-payments and co-branded cards. In recent news, TimesofMoney has revealed plans to provide mobile remittance services.
