ClickandBuy: over 200,000 Christmas transactions concluded in one day

Online payment services provider ClickandBuy recorded more than 210,000 transactions within 24 hours on 14 December.

The ClickandBuy system enables users across 26 countries to pay for services and content on the internet via different currencies. They can pay for online purchases via direct debit, credit card, invoice or prepaid account. The service also provides an overview of open transactions, current subscriptions and invoices. With over 12 million customers, the internet payment system is a partner of iTunes, T-Online, Vodafone, AOL, Orange, Redcoon and Financial Times Deutschland.

In February 2009, the company predicted that its online transactions volume for 2009 would reach a threshold of EUR 1 billion.
