Compass Plus runs performance tests on IBM System p enterprise server

US-based electronic funds transfer (EFT) technology developer Compass Plus has revealed that its TranzWare Online and TranzWare Card Management System (CMS) has been tested on the IBM System p enterprise server at the IBM Products and Solutions Services Centre in France.

Compass Plus’ TranzWare Online provides switching, parametric routing and authorization of electronic payments. IBM System p has tested the service in a processing scenario including a database of 100 million customers, accounts and cards and simulating up to 60,000 terminals of ATMs and POS devices.

TranzWare CMS offers financial institutions automated management of the issuance and circulation of payment cards as well as bank and merchant acquiring. TranzWare CMS is able to run all the procedures for 20 million active credit cards. The system has been tested using a various data sets, including overdue and non-overdue accounts, as well as active and blocked cards.

Compass Plus develops software for building, implementing and managing retail banking systems, such as payment card and bank account management, fraud detection, transaction processing, mobile and electronic commerce.
