DataCash inks contract with Eurostar

Global payment services provider DataCash (part of the MasterCard group) has inked a multi-channel payments contract with European railway service Eurostar.

As part of the agreement, Eurostar customers will be able to make payments online, via call centres, at trains stations and on Eurostar trains. All payments will be consolidated through the DataCash payment gateway. The services provided also include fraud screening capabilities.

DataCash Group, part of MasterCard company, provides multi-channel global payment processing services and fraud prevention and risk management solutions to merchants and banks. The company enables customers to accept and process payments in over 177 currencies, from over 45 brands across e-commerce, m-commerce channels and cardholder present channels.

Most recently, DataCash has added Chinese third-party online payment platform Alipay to its international payment offering.
