Global payment services provider DataCash (part of the MasterCard group) has inked a contract with Quotall, an online insurance systems provider, to integrate its payments technology into the latter’s transactional insurance platform optimised for brokers to trade online.

The partnership will allow insurance brokers to use Quotall’s insurance broking software to quote, buy, adjust, manage and renew insurance policies online, while processing payments via DataCash’s payment systems.

The e-commerce market in the UK is predicted to grow by 110 percent in this decade, reaching GBP 123 billion by 2020 and, in addition, Google is reporting a 40 percent year-on-year growth in business insurance search volumes.

DataCash Group provides multi-channel global payment processing services and fraud prevention and risk management solutions to merchants and banks. The company enables customers to accept and process payments in over 177 currencies, from over 45 brands across e-commerce, m-commerce channels and cardholder present channels.
