DataCash teams up with Redecard to provide payment solutions in Brazil

With this partnership, customers are enabled to accept local digital payments including Boleto Bancario which allows the ‘unbanked’ to shop online and pay for goods in cash at bank branches, Parcelado transactions which allow for the payment of goods to be split over a series of recurring payments and enable merchants to apply interest as necessary, Hipercard which is a Brazilian card brand, Combo Card transactions in which the cardholder can choose which account the funds are taken from. Additionally, there is implemented the ability to process CPF, the Brazilian National Identification number, for the purpose of fraud screening.

DataCash Group provides multi-channel global payment processing services and fraud prevention and risk management solutions to merchants and banks. DataCash is focused on providing solutions in a wide range of areas from gaming, travel, retails and finance sectors.

Redecard, part of the Itaú Unibanco group, is a provider in the electronic payment industry in Brazilian market. Its activities include acquiring as well as capturing, transmitting, processing and settling debit and credit card transactions. The company also offers its clients prepayment for receivables, terminal (POS) rental, terminal (POS) cheque verification, as well as capturing and processing services for benefit cards (Voucher) and store cards (Private Label).

In recent news, DataCash, a MasterCard company, has entered a partnership with Canadian technology provider Swiff, a flagship of SCCP Group, a Singapore-based company.
